Modeling the child’s day for crèches and multi-care centers

In day-care centers, young children navigate their way through different areas throughout the day (activities, catering area, dormitory, etc.). It is therefore interesting to be able to retrace the "typical" route taken by children over the course of a day, in order to offer an analysis of air quality throughout the child's journey, as a complement to the analysis of air quality by space.

ICONE index calculation

Regulated by Decree no. 2012-11 of January 5, 2012, this index takes into account both the frequency and intensity of confinement situations. The decree sets an index value of 5 that must not be exceeded. Applied to regulatory monitoring of air quality in public buildings, this index is a relevant indicator for improving indoor air quality.

CO2 monitoring

The concentration of CO2 in indoor air depends on both human occupancy and the level of air renewal. The CO2 level, an indicator of air confinement, is considered a control value for indoor air quality. In fact, inadequate air renewal leads to a deterioration in indoor air quality, since, like CO2, other substances present in indoor air are not evacuated. In addition, high CO2 levels cause discomfort for occupants and can be harmful to health.
