Comprehensive environmental monitoring

The black motion sensor on the product is called the PIR (passive infrared detector). This electronic sensor measures the infrared light emitted by objects in its field of vision. This makes it easy to detect people’s movements.

• Presence detection: The motion detector (passive infrared) detects people up to 6 meters away. Useful for lighting, security or temperature control.
• Noise control: Measures noise and identifies noise pollution. Contributes to a healthy, peaceful environment
• Ambient light measurement: The brightness sensor measures the amount of light in the room. Ideal for controlling lighting or adjusting temperature more quickly according to sunlight levels.

Reliable, precise temperature and humidity measurement

To avoid any risk of erroneous measurements, particular attention has been paid to integrating temperature and humidity sensors into the product. Rigorous testing and strict validation protocols guarantee operation in extreme operating conditions ranging from -20°C to +50°C and from 0 to 99% ambient humidity.

• Easy to install – different types of mounting: for free-standing, wall-mounting or single-user back box mounting.
• 3M adhesive mounting: Allows quick installation of the motion detector, without screws or plugs. Avoids drilling into walls where asbestos, pipes or cables are present.

NFC configuration

The Nexelec TOUCH app, combined with NFC technology, enables wireless setting by simply bringing a smartphone close to your sensor, making the process much simpler for users. Configuring the motion detector is very easy, thanks to the LED on the back of the product. This LED makes it easy to set up the sensors.

Where is the best place to install my sensor?

In an enclosed space, heat rises and stagnates on the ceiling, where the temperature is de facto a little higher than in the rest of the room. To ensure that the device measures the ambient temperature correctly, we recommend mounting the detector on the wall at least 50 cm below the ceiling.
